Enhance Teachers’ Research and Teaching Abilities

  1. Teachers are encouraged to enhance their teaching and research abilities through participating in the industry-university cooperation and writing course materials. Since the academic year of 2009, the implement of the key performance indicators (KPI) also stimulates the promotion of industry-university cooperation and teamwork spirit. The reward in our school can be categorized into two types including the contribution reward, which is from NT$30,000 to NT$70,000, and the progress reward, which is NT$20,000. 
  2. To upgrade our teachers’ research and teaching abilities, financial field workshops, conferences, and financial database seminars are held regularly. These activities also benefits the curriculum planning. The experts who were invited to the workshops or conferences gave lessons to our teachers and students with the important domestic and international issues in the financial fields. In addition, industry seminars are also held in every semester to help our teachers get close to the development of local enterprises.
  3. The regular cooperation with Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance allows us to hold financial certification exams. This provides our teachers with opportunities to understand the current trends of financial certification exams.
