History

• The two-year junior college program was first established in 1991 with the Department of Bank Management.
• The department changed its name to the Department of Finance in 1993 and the five-year junior college program was first established under the department in the same year.
• The department changed its name to the Department of Finance and Operations, which also included a two-year junior college program and a five-year junior college program, in 1996.
